Our Engineers and Operations Teams have developed, processed and managed thousands of part programs including over (500) castings in Magnesium and Aluminum alloys over (25) years.
We import the Aluminum or Magnesium castings or Magnesium Thixomoldings as needed for your programs and complete the secondary machining, surface treatments or assembly operations as required. NAFTA content and conditions usually can be meet with the secondary processing in our North American locations.
Our supply chain partners are some of the most talented and long tenured in their respective fields. We have been traveling and collaborating with suppliers, Tier I’s, and OEM’s in China, Mexico, Japan and Europe for two decades and have long and successful partnerships that we offer to our Clients.
We simply cannot say enough about this under applied and misunderstood alloy.
We have been specifying and producing Magnesium Thixomoldings and Die Castings for 20 years. Our Chief Engineer was involved directly in the early commercialization of Thixomolding for nine years beginning in the late 1990’s. We have also completed dozens of die casting projects in Magnesium and our experts in optimizing heat sinking geometries to displace aluminum as a heat sinking material in most applications and achieve 30% weight reduction. If you haven’t explored the benefits of Magnesium or the design flexibility of Thixomolding or need assistance with broader application of this alloy, please give us a call.
We have aluminum die castings ranging from a few grams to over 2,000 grams (over 4 pounds) in press ranges from 160T to 2000 T’s. A broad range of alloys is available to suit your application. Our capabilities in die casting Mag range from 160 T to 2000T’s. In Thixomolding up to 850 Tons. Machining, surface treatments, finishing, assembly and all common secondaries are offered to support your product’s needs.
Complete tooling design, manufacture and amortization of replacement tooling is offered. Design optimization of the casting, assistance with dimensioning and GDT is part of the DFM process for any program. Flow simulation and complete process documentation using APQP/PPAP automotive level standards is normal.
We can also provide logistics and warehousing if desired in our Puerto Rican and Colorado locations to reduce the supply chain risk to your North American (Mexico, USA, Canadian) assembly locations.
